Good article, good advice! I found that it is my passion for believing in and seeing nursing homes ramp up their volunteer programs keeps me moving forward.  One day I was whining and doing the "poor me" routine to a good friend who was in sales and he stopped me mid-sentence and said, "Write this down, SWSWSWNC" Some will, some won't, so what, next call!  I don't know about the "so what" part but certainly you can't let the rejection get you down. And you never know what may happen. I had a person email me to say, "You know what you said last year at the conference really changed my life!" Stunned and trying to remember what I said, I asked her, "What did I say??" So keep moving forward and keep communicating your vision! Thanks again for the article!
